Needlepoint Butterfly

This butterfly was made using stiff canvas and tapestry wool, first I stitched the design in tent stitch. Then I cut around the edges of the butterfly making sure that I didn't cut through any of the holes I had stitched into, this is to make sure that the stitching doesn't unravel.
As I haven't been blogging for very long I'm not really sure how to do all the technical stuff yet, but I will make a chart for you so that if you want to you can make one of these butterflies as well. So fingers crossed I will be posting a chart very soon for you!
