Beaded Shelf Trim

This beaded shelf trim is a brilliant way to brighten up a plain shelf. I made this trim using some Tilda ribbon (its a good idea to pick some ribbon that's roughly the same width as the edge of your shelf) and several different types of beads. I used bugle and seed beads for the triangular shaped part of the beaded trim and larger glass and white wooden beads to finish the ends of the triangles. The beads are attached using cotton sewing thread and a fine beading needle. Try changing the colour of the beads or use a different type of ribbon to suit your colour scheme.
